Brian said he lives in the flight path of Brisbane Airport and know his planes What I saw was not a plane I know this for sure because this plane hovered unlike any plane he had seen before. The red light on the object pulsated red. The object was hovering just inside the cloud cover. He said the shape was triangle grey in colour. The object stayed there for around 1 minute. The witness was driving along Haydon Drive, travelling from north to south, at around 4:30 pm on Monday afternoon. He looked up and noticed a ‘bizarre’ red object in the sky, which appeared to be ‘moving fairly fast’ in a west to east direction. He took a left turn into the street that goes to Bruce TAFE so that he could pull up in hope of getting a better view of the object, but by the time he turned the corner he had lost sight of it and he could not find it again.

The witness estimated and he had the object in sight (through his car windscreen) for approximately 5 to 6 sends before it was lost behind the car roof. The sky was overcast and he said the object showed up distinctly as a red ‘blob’ against the grey background. He estimated its apparent size as that of a small marble held at arm’s length. It appeared to be keeping a steady pace. The witness expressed surprise that no-one else in the peak hour traffic seems to have noticed the object.

The only thing the witness could think of that the object might have been was a model aeroplane, although they are not normally flown over this part of Canberra (there is a model aeroplane flying club near Fyshwick on the other side of town).

Tracey Hardman, 20 and Scott Davis, 22 sighted 3 white objects in front of the Adelaide Hills. The 15 minute sighting commenced at 6:30am on the day in question and the objects changed shape from a circle to a long rectangular shape then the shape of a flying saucer. The objects were at a 45 degree angle from the witnesses and seemed almost stationary but descended to the south before disappearing altogether behind the hills. Although the objects moved at a slow pace their changing of shape was very rapid and this is what attracted the attention of the witnesses. "This all happened just right of where the sun was rising from behind the hills."

Michael was on Sydenham station when he heard a sound like a jet but could not see anything. Later , below the clouds he saw a lime green light, blobby, not round, blurred on the edges. The sound was like an Iriquois helicopter, a crack sound with a higher pitch, a roar then nothing. The man next to him said that was spooky. The sound did not taper off. The duration of the sound was approx 4 secs, the object was visible for approx 2-3 minutes. The light was stationary the whole time. Cheryl and friend saw two objects that seems to be very like satellites travelling across the sky, although one went straight up at great speed and disappeared. This is unexplained. Doug Moffett AUFORN NSW

Colleen stepped outside her house on a clear night and within 30 seconds spotted what resembled a ‘V’ shape object flying over her house. She stated that it was very high up and appeared to have no centre mass. At arms length it appeared to be around 3 inches long with four bars of light underneath on each side. She stated the lights seemed to have a translucent creamy grey appearance as if they were not solid. As it flew overhead it did not perform any eradic manouvers at any time but was flying very fast. There was no sound coming from the object at all. It disappeared whilst traveling south at about 45 degrees from the horizonal. William Whyte from Scotland was holidaying in Mildura when he sighted several white lights moving very fast and zigzagging in formation. "The strange lights came from the western sky and were heading to the south. I noticed no flashing lights and saw no portholes. The sky was clear and I noticed a plane in the area but did not take notice what direction it came from. When I was looking through my binoculars they (the lights) looked like they were moving toward me and away from me, the shape of the objects was round. The altitude of the lights was very high in the sky. The lights passed over me and I heard no sound coming from them. I have never seen anything like this in my life."

Ferris S. was travelling north from Secret Harbour to Rockingham, WA. Two orange lights appeared travelling south-north, one above the other. Over Perth the lights slowed almost to a stop and changed course, heading north-west. The witness watched through binoculars and with the naked eye for twenty minutes. Keith was fishing near the old grain silos (now demolished) in North Fremantle. He noticed two very bright, light-orange lights hovering over what he estimated to be the Causeway in Perth. Sally phoned because her son" Darcy" was very upset as he told his mother that he had just seen a UFO as he was standing on the porch of their home, at 7.50pm Monday (24th) night. Sally said "Darcy is 9 years old, and could no stop talking about it and was very frightened, he kept saying that his parents did not believe him, and as he was very upset, they became worried. I then spoke to Darcy, with great care, as this child was very nervous, we had a little chat and he started to tell me that as he was standing on the porch he saw a UFO, he said it was round, white/orange in colour with red fire coming out of it. He saw it for about 10 seconds, and it disappeared.

He said he had not seen it before, but he was so convinced that he asked his mum if the Aliens were going to land tonight. Sally then told me that she did not know who to ring to help him, but he did seem much happier when I told him that it sounded like a new Air force Craft (and played it down). I told his mum the truth, at this stage I didn’t know what he saw and I am still checking, however she was very happy that her son felt better. Sally told me that her son often had nightmares, about monsters and used to hide under the bed, but this time he was acting different towards the object that he saw in the sky. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD
