I interviewed Jenny at her home in Peakhurst, she is a 32 year old mother of 3 and appears to be quite sincere. This is her story. Last year in early August she was lying on her lounge looking out of a window that faces north and she saw a bluish coloured light in the sky. The light was moving closer towards her, mesmerising her. That’s the last thing she remembers before falling asleep. When she woke up in the morning she felt groggy and sick and noticed blood on her legs and spots of blood on her feet. she thought this was strange because it wasn’t that time of the month.. A couple of weeks later, mid August, she was lying on her bed looking out of the window, which also faces north and she saw 3 bluish white bright lights in the sky moving closer towards her. Once again that’s all she remembers before falling into a deep sleep. That night Jenny was wearing a sarong, she was adamant there were no stains or discolouring on or in the material. When next she washed it she noticed stains and discolouring all the way down the front of it, perplexed she washed it again, and realised the stains were in-ground. When Jenny studied it she was shocked to see the imprint of her legs in the material. She showed me the sarong in question and it does appear to have the imprint of her body down the front. I asked Jenny if I could take the sarong for examination but she is afraid of losing it she said it is her proof of the blue light and it keeps her from thinking she is going mad, but she does want it scientifically tested.

Jenny also found a strange scoop mark on her shin, she still has the scar and doesn’t know how she got it. I questioned Jenny about the lights, she said that They were round, not beams of light and they had no sound. They moved forward in up and down spurts and clouds or misty haze formed around them. When she was 9 years old she was confronted by a huge object with coloured lights rotating around it at the time she didn’t tell anyone and she now finds this bizarre.

Around the same time as her experiences with the blue light her 10 year old daughter awoke from a nightmare. She told her mother that small furry creatures with big black eyes were staring at her and when she started screaming they told her not to be afraid. Then she said it was very dark and there were lots of stars all around her, she said she felt sick the next day and stayed home from school. Jenny said her daughter had complained she could feel something at the back of the roof of her mouth and started picking at it with a pencil and to everyone’s surprise she picked out a bit of metal.

That night Jenny said her daughter had the same dream again, she said her daughter descrided the creatures looking like furbies and owls and the following night the same dream again. Jenny said her daughter again complained about the roof of her mouth and again she picked out a bit of metal. I asked Jenny if she had kept the piece of metal, but unfortunately she had not.

To add to this bizarre story, Jenny’s father was involved in a cattle mutilation experience in Grafton in 1979. It involved a horse they owned called Toby which was found dead with its flesh stripped from its head and its rectum was cored out. END I will keep you updated with any further information. At around 6:10 pm on Thursday evening, David was out the back of his house at Emu Heights, near Penrith when they noticed a bright Orange/Yellowish light (not white) speeding across the sky at about 10 degrees above the horizon. It was travelling from East to West with a trail of smoke behind it. David states it was very large about half the size of a five cent piece at arms length and states other people must have seen it. It was a cloudy night and the moon was out. He states that it made no noise, it appeared to him to be a meteor, but couldn’t believe how low it was. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

Description: "Just prior to 9pm on Thursday 9 August 2001, I headed onto my back porch, which faces east, to have a cigarette. It was a windless night, and the foliage on the trees in our backyard was still. There was not a cloud in the eastern/northern sky at the time. For a couple of months, I had been casually observing Mars, which had been particularly bright in the Australian skies at this time. We often notice the Sydney-Melbourne commercial passenger planes flying towards us from the east (heading for Tullamarine Airport), and as I was rolling my cigarette, a light just above the roof line of the house behind ours (approx.... 30 degrees above the horizon) caught my attention. It was a solid, yellow/orange very bright light, seemingly moving slowly upwards and slightly to my left (ie. To the north). At first, I paid it little attention, presuming I had just notice the front light on a commercial plane - I have seen this before, only to notice the other flashing navigation lights as the plane flew closer.

However, as this light ‘rose’ in a slow arc in the sky, seemingly making its way towards me over a matter of minutes, I noted that I could not yet see any other navigation lights, and that something just didn’t ring true about it.

I followed it for a couple of minutes more, until it was about 15 degrees further to the north (from due east) and about 60 degrees above the horizon. It had been moving slowly through this arc, at a speed somewhat slower than a commercial plane. At this point, I lost it briefly in the foliage of a large eucalypt on our back fence, and called my wife to the back porch.

As she arrived on the back porch (noting the time to be a couple of minutes after 9pm by now) the light reappeared from behind the foliage, and proceeded, about 60-70 degrees above the horizon, to follow a steady path from slightly north of east to almost due north. Both of us easily sighting the light. It remained a steady very bright yellow/orange light. There was no sound to be heard as it tracked this path. By this stage, having now passed from east to north, I knew something didn’t ring true, as there was still no indication of flashing navigation lights, and by now a plane would have been side on to my location. Without any indication, it then began to flicker briefly, and dim a little, disappearing for a second, then reappearing. Approximately 30 seconds later, it flickered finally and disappeared. Nothing could be seen moving where the light had been, even though it was a dead still, clear and crisp night. I watched for a further 15 minutes, though no light reappeared.

Over this 15 minutes and on subsequent nights I kept a look in this direction. Whilst I failed to see anything resembling this light again, in the 15 minutes afterwards, 2 commercial passenger planes passed, heading for Tullamarine Airport. They appeared from a vastly different direction, their flashing navigation lights were plainly visible, they flew at a vastly different height, and more importantly, I heard them before I saw them approaching. The light I saw, much larger than Mars (which was simultaneously visible - ie. It wasn’t Mars) was also much brighter and larger, larger than any star in the night sky. In size and brightness (though not color), closer to the searchlight of a police helicopter, though without the other navigation lights.

I contacted the Victorian UFO Research Society Inc., leaving a detailed message on their answering machine, though have heard nothing since, nor did I see any TV or print media reports of the sighting. In the conditions, given the time it took to pass, and its brightness, this light had to have been seen by others."

Approach Direction: Almost due east
Departure Direction: North west
Witness Direction: Initially east, following the object in its path, eventually facing almost due north.
Colour/Shape: Yellow/orange and round, solid for most of the 10-12 minutes of the sighting, then flickered for 30 second before vanishing
Height & Speed Difficult to estimate, given unknown distance and height

At 8-8.30pm on Friday night (10th August) Steve and his family who live at Labrador Gold Coast, saw a very bright orange/red ball of light in the sky. It was in the North/West direction and ended up in the West when it went out and vanished. Steve has a telescope and was looking at the stars at the time. Steve said he had not seen anything like it before and wanted to know if anyone else has reported it. There was no noise, no strobe lights. Size was about twice the size of the brightest star. He could not say what speed it was traveling, but he did say the speed was constant. He watched it for about three minutes, then it dimmed and went out. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD

Liz was sitting outside on Saturday 11/08/01 having a cigarette around 8.30pm, when she first spotted an orange light in the sky. Whilst she continued to watch it, the one light became three.

Liz states that the 3 orange disc shaped lights where travelling in a straight line formation - horizontal eg: ‘ * * * ‘ and thinks most probably the reason she originally saw one light was that the line at that time was face on, as it moved passed her, slowly, that is when she noticed three lights.

During the couple of minutes Liz saw these lights she heard no sound from them, even though they were close enough to have heard it if it was a light plane, which Liz originally thought it was. She changed her mind, when she saw the other 2 lights and the fact that they were flying in such a straight line formation and that all their colour was orange, not the blue/red/white of a light aircraft.

When I asked her, how she knew that this were ‘disc shaped’ objects, she told me it was because they were so close overhead that she could discern the shape clearly.

Liz then states that lights just disappeared, as quickly as they had appeared. Charmaine Ballam AUFORN SA

On August 11, 2001, at 9:30pm, various independent witnesses reported seeing three very bright amber lights hovering overhead at Rockingham. They were in a triangular formation with the apex pointing west towards the ocean. One group of witnesses calculated their height at 200 feet and the size of a basketball. The lights then started to move in different directions, coming back together and moving apart again. After 12 minutes the lights headed out to sea and gradually blinked out. The witnesses were able to see the lower object in silhouette after the light had gone out. They could see a dark arrow or delta shape moving westward. Brian Richards ASPR/UFORUM

Neil was outside at around 7.04pm on Saturday night. The night sky was clear expect for a few scattered clouds, when he noticed a bright pulsating light approx 85 degrees overhead, travelling in a leisurely fashion but up high. What made him really take notice of this light is the way that it ‘flashed’.

It would flash once, for approx 8 secs, stop, then flash again for approx 3 secs, stop, then again 8 secs, stop, 3 secs, stop etc. It did that for approx 60 - 90 secs, before just disappearing.

Neil said, he had good knowledge of the local aircraft that flew from Kangaroo Island to Adelaide Airport on Saturday nights, as he had lived in the Kangarilla area for years. Also the Kangarilla area being in the southern foothills of Adelaide is well away from city light and noise, that is another reason that made it stand out in the clear sky...the brightness of it, and also the lack of sound from it.

He said he had been skywatching for many years, and certainly knew what a satellite looked like and as stated before a light aircraft, this he said, was not like anything he had every seen in all his years [he was an older gentleman] and that is what made him contact the UFO Hotline. He stressed that if he had felt even the remote possibility that it could have been a satellite or plane or even a weather balloon he would not have rang the hotline. Charmaine Ballam AUFORN SA

At 7.05pm (Victorian Time) the same Monday night I was walking to the local supermarket and I too saw a brilliant flash in the sky. I immediately phoned my friend Leonie who was outside too at the time. We watched it and it was heading in a Northish direction. The flashes were brilliant. They were not regular though. IE every three seconds for example. Leonie did send me a link to a satellite observation site but I haven’t looked it up. We saw it for a good two minutes. Cloud obscured the last part of the visible sky to us. James Kennedy AUFORN VIC

Brian was travelling in his car on Tuesday evening and observed 4 individual lights travelling in a straight line over the Camp Hill area. The objects observed were a bright white colour with a tail appearance. He guestimated the objects to be the size of a 5 cent piece. He didn’t believe they were aircraft as the objects performed manouevres, going up and down, sideways, stopping and then loop the looping. He had never seen anything like it watched them for 30 seconds but lost sight of them as he was in traffic and had to pay attention etc. AUFORN QLD

14.08.01 MELBOURNE (MELTON), NSW 2207hrs (Possible identified as the Planet Mars)
(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 1687)
I contacted Mr Phil Green of Melton in Melbourne who experienced this event. He said to me that he saw a UFO at 10.07pm on Tuesday the 14th of august 2001. He also said that the UFO seemed to be stationary and directly above his head 90/deg. He said that the UFO was bigger than a 5 cent piece at arms length. The sky on that night was clear with no cloud cover. I checked my planet charts to see what planets were up at that time. The only planet up at that time was MARS. On that day MARS rose at 12.33pm and set at 0.3.47 am. If it rose at that time (which it did!!) that would put MARS above his head at 6.30pm’.

Here’s where I think the mistake crept in. My information agrees with your rise-set times, but suggests that Mars would have reached maximum elevation (79 deg) just after 8:00pm. Kate Martin

Which means that he didn’t see Mars or any other planet. MARS would have been at 142/deg--west at 10pm, which was only 32/deg from the western horizon?

Again, my information suggests that at 10:07pm Mars would have been at 62 deg Alt, 282 deg Az. (As seen from Melbourne.) Kate Martin

Which is a substantial distance from above his head. About 90/deg.

Estimating elevation is quite difficult for the untrained. Most UFO reporters will grossly overestimate elevation. Many will describe 60 (or more) degrees as "overhead". Kate Martin

Mr Green said that the UFO was ORANGE.’

During August, Mars was a startlingly bright orange object in the night sky. Kate Martin

He also said that it didn’t seem to rotate or move. After viewing it for 10min, he went inside. He also told me that he wasn’t drinking at the time. (in which I was a little bit embarrassed to ask)...What he actually saw I’m not too sure. I will have to put it down as a UFO. Unidentified flying object! Mr Phill Green actually lives in Palmeston a suburb of Darwin. He was visiting friends at the time. Lloyd Wright AUFORN VIC

Due to the proximity of Mars to "overhead" (from a reporters point of view) it may be prudent to ask the reporter if they saw another bright orange object nearby. (During August, Mars was difficult to miss!) If not, I would be suspicious that Mars may have been the stimulus for the report. I have gone over my astronomical information a couple of times and get the same results every time. My apologies if I am making some silly mistake. Kate Martin

Mr X had a dream the night after the crop circles appeared on Tuesday 21st August 2001. 420 of the circles. Mr X says he knows the message that the crop circles are trying to tell us and this is his theory( in his own words):

"Channel 10 News Tuesday 21/8/01 show 420 circles appeared overnight in a wheat field UK all circles appearing to be linked. Message from outer space or a reminder?. If each circle = 1 month divide by 420 X 12 = 35 years add 35 years to 2001 and you get 2036

On the news in 1994/5 it was reported that an asteroid belt was going to collide with Earth in the year 2036. Which corresponds with the Wheat field waning and makes earths destruction on or about 21.8.2036 if nothing is done about it! The way I read this warning is the people from space are willing to help Earth divert this complete destruction if we ask them, but we have to ask because it is probably against their beliefs to interfere with another planet unless requested.

Now that I have written this it looks and sounds silly, but this is what I dreamed on the night of, 21/8/01 it just came to me out of the blue and I remembered the news and broadcast in 1994/5. Could this be true? Could you please put this out on the list for others to comment."

Mr X has asked me to forward your reply’s to him, he has not got a computer, so I will have to print them out and post to him. All comments welcome. Mr X is a American Gentleman from Texas. He had had many sighting in the past as a child, please read on for his experience.

Sighting one
Age 7. In about 1945 - Oakland California. Daytime - In back yard, heard noise and looked up. Air force testing B-52 Bomber, saw a white streak fly across the sky and then a fireball and the B52 exploded. A single parachute shot from the craft, so I thought the pilot must have got out.

Sighting Two
1948 Oakland California, approx 0600. Going to do my paper round on my bike, taking, shortcut through rim of large gravel pit, when suddenly a large object flew up from center and disappeared into the sky, this seemed to pull the bike from under me, I fell off the bike, the bike disappeared, I suffered cuts and bruises, I was almost knocked out. My bike was never found.

Sighting Three
1951 Milton, Florida. Navel Air Base, daytime, Hiking in woods, and laid down in clearing for a rest, saw strange formation of thunder clouds in the sky, suddenly felt warm and relaxed and went to sleep, waking up just at sunset, got into trouble for being late for diner.

Sighting Four
1956 Night, Nr Britany? France, standing guard duty where supply ships were being off loaded offshore. Clear night, Golden Moon, which I thought was reflecting off the water, then realized the reflection was moving. Watched it disappear (about 4 minutes).

Sighting Five
1997 Labrador, Queensland. Night of October on or about 14th. Walking to Pizza hut with daughter to celebrate her birthday. We had just crossed the footbridge where coast guard is, My daughter pointed up asking " what is that"? Looking up I saw a long light blue streak shooting across the sky, more or less above the Pizza Hut. Watched until out of sight, No noise, just blue streak, length of sighting 10-12 seconds. 21.08.01 DORRIGO, FORSTER & TUNCURRY AREA, NSW 2347hrs (NOISE & NL)
(Source: Geoff Hall ABC Radio 22.08.01)
Got a call from Geoff H. from ABC radio mid coast Wednesday 22nd August regarding strange noises and bright lights seen in the area of Dorrigo, Forster and Tuncurry area the previous night at approx 11.47pm. Callers said they sound was like a 747, but very low. This sound was likened to a loud windy noise and in some cases were associated with a bright white light. The intensity of the light varied with the witness reports, some stating it was too bright to keep their eyes open. The ABC station checked with the Williamtown RAAF base, who stated all F111s were in hangers by 11pm that night. If some rogue pilot were out after curfew, the answer from the RAAF would likely be the same. The local Dorrigo police received no reports, although the Constable I spoke to reported his wife was up with their new baby and heard a noise like a road train going over the Dorrigo wooden bridge at approximately midnight. There was no Police search and rescue choppers out that night and the landing strip for the hospital choppers is the local recreational ground, just behind the constable’s house, so, not one of them. I was on air Wednesday morning and asked for more reports through the 1800 772288 number. Only one came thru, that being one of the same ladies that called the station the next morning. No calls from Forster /Tuncurry until the next day when Geoff H. received a call from a man who said he saw a plane landing at about 10pm at Wallace lakes landing strip, Wallace lakes landing strip has no landing lights. This landing was 2 hours earlier than the Dorrigo sighting. When small planes have to raise altitude quickly they do make a loud laboring noise. Could this have been a plane of drugs landing and taking off slowly following the terrain as it found itself snaking it’s way back to some point of rendezvous? No other reports have since been forthcoming. Apparently the Forster women said the lights hurt her eyes but the dorrigo women said they were not that bright at all, could it be the altitude was higher at Dorrigo, but the noise still intense due to the effort to raise over Mt Christopher? Thinking she was being stalked she phoned the police and other organisations but they were unable to help. Finally Optus agreed to trace the calls and it was found they were made from her home phone. This she thought was very strange as she lives on her own. She was desperately trying to get a clear recording of the sounds for evidence as Optus told her she only had 48 hours before her voicemail tape would be erased but she was not having much luck with her tape recorder. SIGHTING: 2 orange pulsating UFOs
SIZE: half the size of a closed fist held out at arms length
COLOUR: orange and pulsating
MOVEMENT: hovered, descended vertically, traveled horizontally

Marty sighted the first UFO in the southern sky on Sydney side of the mountains. Orange and pulsating, he watched it hover and descend and move south. It disappeared and the second one appeared in the South-East. He said it definitely was not an air plane or meteor as it moved with a purpose and changed direction, moving west towards them. He called everyone outside, there were five witnesses. It hovered over power lines and Marty’s brother said he saw a metal rod as the craft hovered. Then it moved west and stopped right above them blinking on and off and he noticed the metal rod was gone. They had the feeling that they were being watched. It seemed to be hovering above them watching them. They said "there was no sound whatsoever". It suddenly moved south west and they lost sight of it. He was almost home, when he noticed a flash in the clouds, he then saw (in the east) 8 lights come out of the clouds and then disappear, then reappear again, and go into a straight line formation. They then moved away from each other, almost vanished and then moved back to the line position again, then went behind a cloud. The defused lights then shone through the clouds and were flickering. One of the lights had a red glow around it. There was no noise. Mark stopped the car and watched for 25 minutes, then they just went out and vanished.
