Gino stated that a couple of months ago on a clear night, he and two neighbours witnessed some strange coloured lights. He stated that there were four orange balls travelling in formation, in a straight , at the same speed. Some of the lights had ‘embers’ falling off them. There was no apparent sound and they flew quite low, much lower than a plane travelling south east-south west towards Ipswich. AUFORN QLD

On the 1st of June which was also a Friday he noticed again that there were bright orange lights in the sky, however this time there were four. He stated that they were moving across the sky together slowly, about the same altitude and direction heading as the ones he’d seen the week prior. He watched them for about 15 minutes when one took of traveling faster than a plane continuing to head North. He then said another took off to the North-West at a less accelerated speed. The two remaining kept traveling at the same speed and in the same direction. I have asked him to contact me if he sees these objects again. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

On June 5th 2001 Mary UFO wittiness was on a holiday down the Gold Coast staying at Currumbin.

Rocks Resort. Mary and her husband had booked a room that over-looked the ocean. That night Mary woke at 2 am to go to the bathroom, as she passed by the main sliding glass windows which faced towards the ocean view Mary noticed a very bright light low in the sky. Mary said: " it was the size of my hand and made no noise" "I called out to my husband to come and have a look, we both sat and watched it till 3 a.m." "Then to our amazement we saw a beam of light which came out of the bottom of the object which shone down to the sand in a cone shape rather like a spot light.

Mary and her husband both said "we thought they saw movement on the sand below the light, but could not make it out what it was." "My husband went back to bed but I stayed up watching it until 6 am by which time the brightness of the light had faded which revealed a saucer shape, grey/silver in colour". "The object slowly faded out of sight". Mary them decided to call the Coolangatta Airport to see any planes had been in the area at the time the object appeared. She was informed the only plane was a small plane, which they call the milk run. Mary stated she never believed in UFOs before now. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD

David was on his Balcony Unit having a barbeque with friends and relatives celebrating his Birthday. His wife noticed three bright orange lights in the eastern sky at about 90 degrees from the horizon. The lights were pulsating simultaneously and were positioned in a triangular formation. After 15 minutes the lights were no longer present. The reportee stated he did not see them leave. He just looked up again and they were gone. All those present at the celebration saw the three lights in question. They could not judge the height at which the lights were hovering. Considering the information given I am of the opinion the lights pulsating simultaneously could be in fact one object possibly in the shape of an isosceles triangle. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

On the 8th of June at around 11:15 pm Tony, his wife and daughter were driving along Sydney heads and noticed 3 orange lights in the Eastern sky over the ocean in what he called a perfect triangular shape, they merged together and formed one large orange light and headed South West at what he states was a tremendous spead; like a bullet. They lost sight of them in an instant. The observation only lasted a matter of seconds. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 1468)
Casandra was staying at a friends house at Kilcare Beach on the Queens’ Birthday long weekend. The house overlooks the ocean and is positioned on a cliff face. Early Saturday morning around 4:30 pm she noticed a bright light about 40-50 degrees above the horizon (N.E) which seemed to be changing colours and shapes. Casandra and a friend of hers grabbed two telescopes and set them up to get a closer look. She knew the unidentified light was not Venus as she had studied Astronomy herself for three years and could see Venus to the right of the light which was changing shapes.

Casandra noted that periodic clouds were not affecting the view as they were behind the light, so the light object appeared to be within Earth’s atmosphere. She then went to wake up the house owner’s son, Terry and alert other house guests, there were now four witnesses in all. They were all surprised by the sight of the light and what it was doing, they kept taking turns looking at it through the telescopes.

The witnesses stated it appeared to flip inside and out, each time changing shapes from a circle with checker board shapes on it, to a distorted figure eight, to a square. The light continually changing into an array of colour groups; green, red, purple, blue etc. Casandra stated at times it looked like a strobe light and was as large as a 5 cent piece when looking through the telescrope.

What is interesting is that Casandra and her friend set up the telescopes and did not need to adjust there position for the duration of the sighting i.e 1.25 hours. When the light changed it’s shape continually though, Casandra stated it gave you the impression it was moving or bobbing up and down, but of course it wasn’t.

Casandra also stated that when dawn was breaking, the stars were diminishing from view, but that the unidentified light just stayed there, becoming more faded as the sun came up. Apparently even after dawn the unidentified light could still be seen for 15 minutes. Another interesting point is that the next day the locals in the area were talking about all the groups of Whales that had been sighted that night and that they were not suppose to be migrating down the coast yet.

Casandra also stated she is sure the unidentified light was there again on Sunday night, but further away in the distance. Casandra is sending some photos of the light, if the pictures turned out. She did fortunately have a zoom lense attached to her Camera at the time. So with a bit of luck.....

I will be investigating this event further. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

This reportee is a courier. On Monday at around 3 pm he was driving in Dee Why along Oaks Avenue just past the round about when his engine seized, nothing would work. He got out of the vehicle after putting the van in neutral, took the break off and tried to push the van off the Road, it wouldn’t budge He then went accross the Road and rang his Boss to get someone else to do his pickup and also rang the NRMA. When he went back to his van he tried again by putting the gear into reverse to clutch start it. He then tried to start it once again the usual way and guess what it worked. He has been driving the van since Monday and it hasn’t played up so far. The strange thing is a colleague has just experienced exactly the same thing. He will be talking with him tomorrow. I asked him to find out exactly where this driver was at the time of his incident. Apparently it also happened on the Monday, but later on in the afternoon.

In regard to the UFO’s he states they are definitely saucer shaped the larger ones illuminate a yellow light and the smaller ones illuminate a blue light. He stated today that at least one large ship and over 30 smaller ones were hovering over Artarmon. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

What George wanted to know, is if anybody had reported seeing a UFO or UFOs above Adelaide on the 16th of June.

Reason being, George told me, is that the following morning he woke up and felt that something had happened to him. He then went on to say that he woke up on Wed 20th with a wound in his nose and a ‘Head Full of Information’....that he had to pass onto certain people about the agenda of the ‘Good ET’s’. I asked him if he felt he maybe an ‘abductee’ to which he replied he, had, had, some strange experiences in his life.

He kept on ‘stressing’ that he had certain information and that he felt he was involved in a spiritual war, but would not say what this information was. George also informed me that he had arranged to go to his GP tomorrow and also for a ‘Cat Scan’, he said it would depend on what his Doctor said about the hole in his nose and what the Cat Scan found what he would do next. He said he didnt want to be ‘hypnotised’ by anyone from a UFO group. I quickly informed him that AUFORN does not do ‘hypnotism’ and that if any one felt they wanted/needed it, then we would always make sure that they would see a ‘qualified’ professional person.

This again HIGHLIGHTS the lack of and need of good qualified professional people available here in Adelaide for abductees. Charmaine Ballam AUFORN SA

Shape: Disc shape [saucer shape] Objects: 2 Colour: Dull Yellown Sound: NIL Duration: 10 mins Witnesses: 1

On Saturday 16.6.01 night at around 10.50pm, Paul was outside with his dog. He looked up at the night sky and noticed 2 dull yellow lights. Originally Paul thought that they were just 2 stars, but then he noticed that the lights were moving and as they drew closer to his position, took on the look of discs. Paul also noticed that his dog started to act funny as the lights came closer.

Paul watched the 2 objects for approx 10 mins, he stated that they had come into his line of sight from a 45-50 degree angle from the horizon, and as he watched, the top one came down towards the other, so it looked like the top one was covering the bottom one.

Then after 10 mins, the top one, took off straight up, while the other one stayed. He continued to watch it for a minute or two more, but by then the cloud cover had moved in properly, so he didnt know what happened to the 2nd object, whether it was still there or had also departed. He said, that there had been a large gap in the cloud cover and that is where he was looking/watching the 2 objects.

There was no noise, and Paul being a photographer said that he has a good idea of how light can play tricks etc. So, he went through a process of elimination, by himself.

He phoned the local Parafield Airport and asked if there was any traffic for that time of night, they answered "No". He then phoned the Edinburgh RAF, and Adelaide Airport and got the same answer of "No". He also then went through the thoughts of ‘helicopter’ so he phoned the local police to ask if they may have had their helicopter out doing a search to which again the police replied "No". He also ruled out satellites, as they dont tend to move down to come on top of one another, then one move straight off upwards, etc.

Note:
Paul also asked me if other people had phoned in to say they had seen something that night.
I explained to Paul that funnily enough for the last 3 weeks, we had been receiving calls to the UFO Hotline from around that area ie: Munno Para/Craigmore. Paul said, yes that Munno Para/Craigmore where near where he was - Elizabeth Park. I also told him, that those people had witnessed 3 orangey/reddish lights in a rough triangle formation. But! that they had also been travelling in the same direction at about the same height above the horizon.

I am keeping a record of these sightings in this area. As for calls to be coming in 3 weeks running and everytime it has been on a SATURDAY night at 10.30-11.00pm that people have witnessed these lights/objects. I know that the Edinburgh RAAF is close by, but, apart from the Global Hawk which has now a few weeks back, Edinburgh is not known to house any ‘unusual aircraft. Charmaine Ballam AUFORN SA

Reportee: Dominique was with a friend on his Balcony on the 23/6/01 at about 2.30 am when they saw an orange/red light in the sky. The reportee stated it looked as if it was flying above Erskin Park Road, St Clair. He states it was the size of a 10 cent piece at arms length and was heading West.

He stated it was very slow but appeared to be rotating like the fire crackers you can buy that spin around on the ground when you light them and the sparks or flame push out from the ball of light (rotating Clockwise). It did not flicker or pulsate at all. They watched it for around 15 minutes or so.

They noted that it turned slowly and seemed to be flying parallel to the Great Western Highway for a few minutes as far as Woodville Road. He then noted it did an abrupt turn and headed South-East at a tremendous speed and accended 45 to 50 degrees as it did. He lost sight of the object within seconds.

The reportee at first glance thought it may have be a helicopter considering the height at which it was flying, but at closer inspection he thought otherwise, it looked nothing like a helicopter and also there was no apparent noise. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

Reportee: Richard: On Tuesday evening at around 6:15 pm Richard and his son were driving along Narellan Road travelling towards Campbelltown when they noticed an orange light in the sky. It appeared in the South-Eastern sky at about 15 degrees above the horizon. Richard stated they were at the highest point on the Road way when they first noticed it.

The reportee stated that the orange light was lightly pulsating and that it couldn’t be attributed to cloud cover as it was a clear night. It seemed to be travelling at a similar height to that of the planes that pass over the Campbelltown area, but not on the same flight path.

The orange light seemed to be heading toward Liverpool. No other lights were apparent and the light was not similar to that of a plane. When Richard pulled up at the stop lights at the intersection of Narellan, Blaxland and Gilcrest Avenue, which is a major intersection, the light could still be clearly seen, even in this lit up area.

The reportees said the object looked at least three times bigger than Mars is at the present time. When Richard and his son drove off from the main intersecton they pulled off to the side of the Road and got out to have a better look. The orange light projected the same intensity the whole time they were observing it until it faded from view due to distance. Richard thought this light first appeared over the area of Wollongong.
