Sue and her husband were in their loungeroom on Sunday the 8th June when they noticed an amber coloured light through their window. It was moving from North to South and apparently was lower than the usual planes that fly from South to North on a regular basis. They noted it was around 19:45hrs and when they went out to get a better view they noticed their was no noise and the amber/orange colour of the object seemed to fade in and out and looked as if the size was fluctuating as well.

They also spotted another two moving down the coast within an hour of the last sighting. They were all the same colour and size and were also heading in the same direction. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

Pam was on her coffee break at TAFE CBD and was standing outside on the balcony when she noticed a bright star in the sky. She stated that she was watching it when an object came along side it? and remained stationary. She then noted another one approaching that also pulled up to the right of the object but some distance from it. She thought it strange. She watched them for over ten minutes when the one who had arrived last, moved off.

Just then she noted that the one she had noticed in the first place was moving towards her direction. Pam stated it was heading East, towards the Ocean. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

16.06.03 ARMIDALE, NSW 1700hrs (NL)
(Source: April, May, June 2005 UFOR NSW Newsletters)
Mr B, from Armidale, on 16 June 2003 at 5 pm observed, “We had been having some spectacular sunsets leading up to my recent sighting. This is my sixth to date. I was watching the sun set at 5 pm. It had just set below the horizon and the sky was another painted masterpiece!

Looking west from my house I can see the golf course and airport on the hill. I suddenly noticed what I though at first was a meteor just right of the airport about 500 metres. It looked like a fireball. This object was hovering at tree level. When I realised that this was no meteor I grabbed my binoculars for a better look. Upon viewing the craft I was literally numb with shock. Then an amazing adrenalin rush took over.

The craft was huge. I estimate about 80 metres in length. It was shaped like a saucer but more cigar-shaped. It was fluctuating between a whitish silver and the most amazing intense orange.

Almost like a colour that I have never seen before (if that makes sense). It also had this strange shimmering effect, a bit like heat waves on the road. This part is hard to explain. The craft appeared to be surrounded by what looked like a cloud. The only way to explain it is to say, to me, it was a hole or a tear in space-time-reality and this object had sort a popped in for a look! I found this really hard to comprehend.

I witnessed something that they don’t teach us in science. The object suddenly began to move very slowly to the north, still above tree level. About ten minutes into the sighting the craft split into two objects. They both remained side by side for about 30 seconds and then joined as one again. I witnessed the object for about 15-20 minutes all up before it drifted behind a mountain and I lost sight of it. During the sighting I called a friend who has a video camera. Unfortunately due to the geography he couldn’t see the craft. I have spoken to several people including a helicopter pilot who was working at the airport observed two small aircraft fly near the object and land at the airport. I also got this sensation that it was showing itself to me, and me only! Weird!

I have had other experiences including the following:
1994?A friend and I saw a glowing sphere float over Armidale
1994/95?Another acquaintance and I in Armidale saw a huge cigar dancing across the Milky Way.
1995/96? - Nighttime sighting of small noiseless triangle - most probably a small plane
1999 March - Spain about 3 am at a truck stop - A large orange ball of light bouncing up and down behind a mountain. Also witnessed by a really spooky lady I didn’t want to be around!

20.06.03 SYDNEY (MOSS VALE), NSW 1945-1950hrs (NL)
(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code 3008)
Duration of Sighting: 2-3 minutes
Size of all Objects: Star
Objects: Yellow
Noise: Nil
Shape: Star like
Objects observed: Two (2)
Other Witnesses: Wife

On Friday evening 20th June between 7.45pm to 7.50pm James observed what he perceived to be an aeroplane on fire or an asteroid. He was walking along the pathway to his house in Moss Vale, facing North West, when he noticed 2 bright yellow objects in the sky.

They were starlike but very bright and as he looked he saw a bright piece fall off the first object. He called his wife out to see also. James said that they were tracking south, slowly dropping in altitude he and his wife eventually lost sight of them behind trees. He was pretty sure it was an aircraft on fire and expected to see it on the News, but there was no mention. He bought the newspaper next day expecting to read about it, but once again there was no mention.

He rang the military at Goulburn because the sighting was over Goulburn way, but got a negative response. He thought then that it must have been an asteroid, meteorite, comet or something and he rang the observatory. Once again he got a negative response. He finally rang the hotline number declaring to me, I’m a non believer, but this was quite odd. Please let me know what it was, it must have been something. I explained to James about the garbage bag phenomena, but he said no, it was nothing like that. Larraine Cilia UFOSWS

27.06.03 POWRANNA, TAS 0545hrs (CE1)
The witness was on his way to work on a fine clear morning. Initially he saw the glare of an approaching vehicle over the rise ahead. He checked his rear vision mirror and the long straight behind him was empty. However, before the car ahead came into view he checked his mirror again and was surprised to see a bright blue light only 100-150m behind. The witness now glanced back to see a round light about 1m across and about 1m off the road. The witness now dipped his lights and the oncoming vehicle went past, now when he looked behind there was no light.

However, several kilometres further on the witness noticed a bright blue light coming around the curve behind and moving up fast to the rear of his vehicle. The witness was puzzled by the fact that the light did not emit any glare or light up his car. He now slowed down to 80 kph waiting for the light to go past but it just stayed behind. The witness now turned right at a road junction and took the opportunity to look back along the highway he had just left, but there was nothing to be seen.

The Centre heard third hand of other similar events on the highway but is unable to follow up these reports. Keith Roberts TUFOIC.

27.06.03 BYRON BAY (nr. BANGALOW), NSW 1930hrs (NL)
(Source: E-mail Report via AUFORN@yahoogroups.com 30.06.03)
I observed what was probably a UFO at about 7.30 pm 27 June east of Byron Bay. I was at a wake with family members near Bangalow & sat on the verandah for almost half an hour looking at what I thought was Mars which is brighter than it has been for 70,000 years, as astronomers report. It was as bright as Venus and a beautiful amber/orange sparkling colour. I was surprised that Mars had risen so early & was so bright as I have been looking at it on some nights previously. Mars is steadily getting brighter each evening & I was delighted to see how bright it had become, thinking that all the rain the day before had really cleaned the air.

I watched it for about 20 minutes then called my family & others over to view the spectacle of a brilliant Mars not all that high above the eastern horizon and when they came out I was shocked that it had gone even though I had only taken my eyes off it for a couple of minutes. I felt a bit foolish enticing them out into the cool evening & then not being able to show them anything. The real planet Mars rose into the sky in about the same place an hour or so later and was only half as bright as the object that I had watched & admired for so long.
