In Eagle Hawk, Bendigo, Jennifer saw two points of light that resembled stars, in the southern part of the sky, but there was a light travelling between them, which was not an aircraft.

At 3.23 am she called again to say that it was still happening.

Peter was also watching the light travelling between two stars and found an explanation for his sighting. He used binoculars, and found that there was a wire cable some distance away that was very tightly strung up, and very shiny. When the wind blew, and especially if the wire was wet, it reflected light in such a way as to give the impression that something was moving back and forwards at a very high speed, across the sky.
