April 2010 Results received from FORM on 1/05/2010 19:43:40 01.04.10 NORTH RINGWOOD (VIC) 18:53hrs Observation: It was a dark evening moon was not visible from my backyard. I sat down to have a cigarette and as I looked up to the sky I immediately noticed something moving in the sky like a small faint star, I immediately concluded it was a satellite and quickly called my son who was in the lounge only a few meters from the door. My son ran out and I pointed out the moving object I labelled a satellite, as it was moving at quite some speed my son said isn't that moving too fast to be a satellite and then it accrued this thing is moving from NTH to STH and was moving many times faster than any Satellite I have picked out before, it moved from the NTH horizon to the STH in around 40SEC, as I picked it up close to the NTH horizon I must have had around 30-sec visibility. It is not very significant but thought I would report the details in case it ties in with something more significant. LOOKING EAST @APX 80 DEG MOVING NTH TO STH SPEED: TRAVELLED APX 40 SEC FROM NORTH TO STH HORIZON MINUS 30 DEG ON EACH SIDE DUE TO TREE OBSTRUCTION. WOULD DESCRIBE IT AS WHEN YOU OBSERVE A SATELLITE FROM EARTH WITH THE NAKED EYE, LIKE A SMALL STAR BUT YOU CAN SEE THAT IT IS MUCH CLOSER THAN A STAR. Obseravtion: Hey there, it was the evening of April 14th 2010, my bird flew out of his cage and flew up onto the tree in our backyard. While we were trying to capture him I was looking towards the sky to the south of me and I saw a massive yellow/white light just coming down from the sky. It was coming down on a very slight angle. I Have seen exactly the same object before last year but it was north of us. I have taken pictures of the direction I saw it in and used Paint to re-construct what I saw. Obseravtion: My friend Janine and I had just left Daylesford headed for home. I was just past the Swiss Mountain Hotel on the midland highway just past the Clunes turnoff heading towards Ballarat. Janine was headed towards Clunes and we were minutes apart. The roads kind of run parallel with a big field in between. I notice something shoot across the sky from the rear drivers side of my car, parallel with the ground and then shoot in front of the left hand side front of my car but miles ahead. It was bright white and round but it had a light green tinge to the outside of the round shape. It was BIG and FAST. It then stood still where it stopped in front of me. By this time I had pulled over and waited for Janine in excitement forgetting I was past the Clunes turnoff. I hopped out of the car willing it to come back. It zagged quickly and suddenly to the right and shot away. Vanished.....poofff....gone..... I then phoned Janine hoping she saw it too. I had to leave a message as she was driving. She called me when she got home to tell me she had seen it and she thought it was a UFO prior to getting my message on her phone. This was a UFO. I believe it to be alien in origin. No plane moves like that, no way. It was bog and bright. It wasn't a shooting star. There were clouds last night and they were high. This was below cloud cover height. Number of objects: I saw 1 - Shape of objects: Round, bright white with a pale green tinge around the outside - Weather Conditions: High cloud. Obseravtion: I had just turned onto the Clunes road at Blampied, at the Swiss Mountain Hotel turn off on the Daylesford/Ballarat Road, and had travelled no more than a minute or 2 when i saw what I first thought was a shooting star through my front windscreen starting about where the rear vision mirror is, and heading in the same direction I was going, quite fast. It then seemed to accelerate at incredible speed and disappear in the same direction.. I saw it for a few seconds. The object was round, solid and shining white in colour..too solid and round for a shooting star, and it was below the clouds, travelling parallel to the ground, but high up...shooting stars dont do that...it was too fast for a plane or helicopter and was travelling the same way I was going until it sped up and disappeared. Further along the same road, I saw 2 more similar objects travelling in a similar manner but they werent as big as this first one..or maybe they were further away. I didnt get a good look, only a glimpse of the last 2..the first one i only saw for a few seconds.. The road I was travelling on was a narrow country Victorian back lane..one car wide and unlit.. I arrived home to find a message on my phone from my friend C. who had also seen a similar object and pulled over at the Swiss Mountain Hotel at Blampied..she described her sighting which would have been minutes before mine, if not at the same time, and within a couple of kms Number of objects: 3 separate objects - Shape of objects: Rounded - Weather Conditions: Cloudy, cold but fine..objects appeared to be under the cloud level.
Received on 26/04/2010 12:32:06 25.04.10 WILBERFOCE (NSW) 18:15hrs Interests: I am capable at identifying flying aircraft where I live at various ranges night and day due to living near an airforce base and also due to knowledge in military aircraft thanks to my educational background Observation: I was driving home from Windsor to Wilberforce through the farms and approximately 400 metres from the small bridge which you cross to enter Wilberfoce I saw approach from the left side of my vision an object flying at about 1000 feet and moving at a slow speed. It flew across the road and then across a local camping spot and out of sight. Richmond RAAF base is nearby so there is a good chance that this is just an incorrect sighting of one of their aircraft, but this did not look like or sound like any of the C-130s, C-17s, F-18s, Hawk trainers or P-3 Orion's that fly in and out of Richmond RAAF from time to time ( aircraft listed in order of activity, with C-130s and C-17s comprising about 90% of sightings). I knew immediately that the craft was not one that usually flew around Richmond RAAF however it was not a saucer and showed no strange characteristics in flight. Description: The object was a solid black equilateral triangle, with 3 large solid downlights that did not strobe, approximately 30 metres in length each side. As the craft crossed my vision I looked for any sign of wings, tails and navigational lights or strobe lights, none of which were presents. The aircraft was completely silent, and showed no unusual flight characteristics when I witnessed it. On a personal note whilst I was surprised to see the craft the unremarkable nature of the sighting and the look of the craft led me to initially dismiss it as just a faulty sighting, but since yesterday I have been unable to get it out of my head. Location: On Wilberforce Road, approximately 400 metres from Buttsworth Creek Bridge, which you cross to enter Wilberfoce - Other Witnesses: There were other cars ahead of me, however I did not see anyone stop or look at the sighting as remarkable. - Apparent Size: Dinner Plate: - Actual Size: To me it looked to be an equilateral triangle with sides of 30 metres each. - Altitude: I believe that the altitude was 1000 feet. - Object Origin: Westerly from the direction of Richmond RAAF - Object Destination: Easterly: - Planets Visible: It was Dusk and cloudy so no stars or moon were visible. Other Experiences: Approximately 6 months ago I briefly witnessed a small silver orb for approximately 15 seconds near the same area whilst driving on the same road, however it immediately disappeared out of sight and I thought nothing of it. Another incident I can recall on the same road but driving towards Windsor was my friend who saw a silver object fall out of the sky then disappear. I do not feel that either of these sightings are particularly credible or lend credence to the one I witnessed last night. Observation: I looked out the window as I sometime do as I was getting a drink from the kitchen at about 5.30am 27/4/2010. At first I thought it was a city light and realised it was really bright and way to high for a city light and way to bright for a plane. I then saw another light next to it which I thought was a star as it seemed to be further away but then the really big light that was closer started to move and I thought it was to bright and to fast for a plane as it took of. when I looked again 2 minutes later the other smaller star had gone to. So I believe there was two Observation: Me and a few mates where playing footy when I saw I weird shaped cloud and pointed it out as it looked pretty cool. As we watched it my mate pointed out it was moving the tail was at least 100m long (I say this because of how far the ufo was and it had to be huge for us to see it at that distance). It moved quite quickly for the altitude it was at (about 3 times higher than a plane) it was going 2000 plus km it moved so far in the space of 10-15 min the tail became white after the sun got lower. It move quite odd not straight like a plane more curved like it was circling the earth eventually we could not see it as it had moved to far away. Number of objects: 1 - Shape of objects: Very very small huge tail appeared reddish but then went white once the sun got lower (tail) - Could your sighting be a UFO balloon/lantern?: No - Weather Conditions: Fine a little cold Received on 29/04/2010 20:38:44 ??.04.10 GLENORIE (NSW) 18:30 to 19:30hrs Observation: I have been satisfied by a orange/whitish star like object moving fast across the sky between 6:00pm-7:30pm, (Every night). Over the past week I have seen these "UFO's" and there is sometimes for than one. I have seen 9 of these star like objects moving across the sky within 1 hour of each other. On the occasional night, I might see one move across the sky and zig-zag whilst moving forwards, I have seen one go across the sky and then all of a sudden another one will accompany it and fly along together and then disappear, I have seen the objects emit flashes of light whilst moving ahead. Description: There were no sounds, it looks like a star but moving fast across the sky, sometimes zig-zagging and meets up with another object and flies with it and then they disappear. - Location: I am seeing these 'UFOs' on Post Office Rd, Glenorie, NSW Other Witnesses: My dad, My bother and my sister have all seen them with Actual Size: They looked to be the size of a - Altitude: As far as height I don't know, but an estimate would be out side of the Earth's atmosphere and sometimes inside. - Object Origin: All directions, but normally stay on a straight path. - Object Destination: The way it is going is where it disappears - Moon Visible: Yes, the moon was over towards the East and was very bright. - Moon Size Comparison: It is the size of a normal sized star if you were to place a star next to the Moon. - Planets Visible: Yes, there were many stars visible at the time, but I don't know which ones... - Weather Visibility: Clear, Mild, Calm - Weather Comments: I can't see the objects when there are clouds, it is too high. - Viewing Aids: I could see them without any aid.. |
