EARLY 1980s nr TAMWORTH, NSW 0300hrs (CE1)
(Source: This report is a result of 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 01055 or 01057?)
Lloyd mentioned an encounter he had in the early 1980’s. Around 3:00 am, he was traveling in a motor vehicle with his son Towards Tamworth when a bright disc-like object abruptly appeared before them. The anomaly played cat and mouse as it disappeared and reappeared a number of times at tremendous speeds. One instant, the object came so close that Lloyd swore to have seen porthole-like features around what is believed to have been the object’s outer rim.

When they returned home and told their story, they were subject to ridicule and rejection. He kept it to himself for nearly 20 years until he contacted the 1800 number. Doug Moffett AUFORN NSW

Chris was turning around the bend near Diggers RSL when both the Cab driver and himself noticed a bright orange light on the horizon which seemed to disappear into the ocean and looked as if the sun was setting, it was around 8pm in the evening. He thinks the event took place during Summer or Autumn, but can’t remember exactly when. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

09.12.00 ALBION PARK, NSW 2100hrs (NL)
(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 01055 or 01057?)
The witness is know as Lloyd, a resident of Albion Park, who was a witness to an unusual event taking place on 9th December, 2000, at approximately 9:00 pm.

The witness was sitting outside his front porch observing the night sky when he noticed a brilliant light towards the north, traveling from east to west at a constant pace, similar to any commercial aircraft. What surprised him was when he saw the object split in two. According to the witness, the secondary object took a three second vertical fall to the ground. The witness suggested that the secondary object might have disappeared behind a distant escarpment and took off in an unknown direction.

The primary object continued its course for a short period (exact time not remembered) before disappearing into the clouds.

Comments:
This sighting occurred the same evening as callin code 001056 from Albion Park. There is no doubt that the object behaved in a peculiar way. However, military aircrafts from HMAS Albatross, Nowra, travel as far as Albion Park, according to the Albion Park aerial patrol. There is a possibility that the event was caused by a military aircraft dispatching a flare. However, early December 2000 was regarded as a high fire danger period.

Would the military be so careless and risk a regional bush fire?

I will be contacting HMAS operations at Albatross in the second week of January 2001, as well as Albion Park aerial patrol and Wiroolla police station. Doug Moffett AUFORN NSW

27.10.00 BRISBANE (JAMBOREE HEIGHTS), QLD 1630hrs (NL)
(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 00972)
AT 6.30pm on Friday 27th October, at Jamboree Heights Brisbane, Mr X saw a bright light in the sky traveling from west to east. Mr X said that it was the size of a star and was traveling very fast in a straight line. It was like a bright white light, it flashed red for about one second as he watched it then it stopped and vanished. The whole incident lasted for about 20 seconds. No noise. He also said it was lower in the sky than a satellite but could have been the same speed. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD

(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 00994)
Brendan was sitting on the verandah having a smoke on the night of 6th November at Bundamba (Qld). It was around 10pm that he and his girl friend saw a light in the sky that did a 90 degree turn. It was a white light with a blue bottom. It made a rumbling noise.
Height about 500 mtrs.
Size 50 cents
Direction from south to north.
There was a storm in progress at this time. On talking to him further I discovered he had many experiences. He had worked at a Power Station and told me about power surges every time strange lights appeared in the sky. He also told about seeing a light traveling under water at Wyvenhoe Dam. while he and his mate was night fishing. I made arrangements for Diane, Rob and myself to go and talk to him in person, but on the night we was due to go, Diane phoned him to confirm and he had forgotten, we are still waiting for him to get back to us. This file remains open. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD

(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 01035)
Christine said the light was about 3 inches long, and did not move, it was wide across, about the height of a star only much bigger and brighter. It did not move. Then a cloud passed below it and when the cloud cleared it had disappeared. She was unable to tell me in which direction it was. Christine says she has seen many strange lights in the sky in the past. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD

09.12.00 JIMBOOMBA, QLD ca. 2038hrs (Identified as an Outdoor Trackers Lights)
(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 01053)
Ricky says he was swimming in his pool on Saturday night (Jimboomba, Qld) when he saw a circle of light in the sky, going clock wise then anti clock wise, no noise, he could not tell me what direction it was, or what size other than big. He then said there was 12 circles, his description was a bit vague, but he did say it was reflecting in clouds.

09.12.00 ALBION PARK (SOUTH OF WOLLONGONG), NSW 2325hrs (NL)

On Saturday 9th December 2000 at the precise time of 11.25 pm, Aaron was alerted by his mother when she witnessed something unusual. Aaron immediately joined his mother who was standing in the front yard. They were witnesses to three bright orange anomalies high above their residence, traveling from N-NW very slowly towards S at an equal distance (from the Great Dividing Range). The phenomena were described to be round like fog lights and at least 3 times brighter than the brightest star near the moon at the time.

It is worth mentioning that at that particular time the moon was nearly at full phase and the so-called brightest star near the moon at the time was actually the planet Jupiter at a stellar magnitude of 2-3. Therefore the anomalies magnitude would have been roughly between 7-8.

The two eyewitnesses watched the event for approximately 10-15 minutes. Aaron mentioned that he had a pair of binoculars and observed a fourth pulsating object approaching. It was identified as a conventional aircraft judging by its tail and wings. However the aircraft produced no noise, which may have been due to wind direction, or perhaps some form of military aircraft. As it approached, one of the anomalies abruptly disappeared. It’s fading or sudden loss of luminosity indicated to the witness that the object maneuvered in an upward direction. Shortly after the other two followed the same pattern.

The conventional craft then kept its course however still remaining within the field of view. Moments after the event, one of the objects reappeared. As he kept an eye on it he noticed that the anomaly was “jerking” left to right.

This effect may have been a result of an optical distortion or illusion. This effect is noted when one watches a small bright object in a dark surround, for a delayed period.

As the subject witness recalls, the aircraft still remained at a relatively consistent distance from the object. The anomaly reacted as before and disappeared unlike anything conventional. The aircraft continued its path and headed north.

Comments:
In the report filed by the witness, he indicated that the anomalies were heading N-NW. In the actual telephone conversation, he indicated a due S-SW direction. This may have been due to disorientation.

Aaron’s report is equally compared with the call in code 001052 from Albion Park and a number of other cases Phil and I have investigated. There is no indication from the witness that this may be hoax. There is nothing for him to gain by producing such misleading information. Again, his testimony is strengthened by the call in code 001052, which notably was reported on the same day.

Aaron indicated that he lives near a flight path and can differentiate between conventional and non-conventional aircrafts.

He also noted that sailing clouds at times covered the objects, indicating their high altitude.

The only apparent sound noticed during the observation was the surrounding ambient noise. No apparent odor was detected.

I will be contacting Albion Park airfield to confirm this case. Doug Moffett AUFORN NSW

On Thursday 14th December 2000 at about 9pm thought they saw a UFO. Mr X said his wife was very upset as it was over the area they live in, he said there was a circle of lights going clockwise and anti clockwise reflecting in the clouds. This lasted about a hour, then vanished, like someone turned the lights out.

20.12.00 SYDNEY (BANKSTOWN), NSW 0520hrs (DO)
(Source: This report is a result of 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 01074)
On the morning of 20th December 2000, at approximately 5:20 am, Mrs Wright walked out to her balcony and discovered a “car tyre-like” anomaly hovering near her residence at a low altitude. She described the object as “snow white” and hollow or black in the center of the under section.

Mrs Wright watched the stationary phenomena for approximately five minutes when it changed form into a “horse shoe shape” and disappeared or dematerialized.

Comments:
Mrs Wright observed the anomaly at an unknown angle (judging by her description, the object may have been at a approximate 75 degree angle towards East from her residence).

She quoted: “In my 77 years I have never seen anything like it. I will never forget it until the day I die!”

There was no sound or odor produced by the phenomena. No other surface structures were noticed, only a plain clean appearance as described by the witness. The morning was after dawn, clear, hot with no apparent wind.

The subject also noted she did not know why she ventured out to the balcony. The witness tells me that she is never known to go there, especially in the early hours.

After the event, Mrs Wright contacted Channel seven who in turn gave her the 1800 number.

Conclusion:
Mrs Wright sounded quite genuine during the call. However, not knowing the subject’s medical situation or authenticity, I have no reason to believe that the call was a hoax.

My assumptions have drawn the following conclusions:

1, The phenomena was a result of a so called temperature inversion, when light from the ground is reflected off a trapped layer of warm air above the much cooler night air below it.

2, CE1-as there is no conventional aircraft known to possess the sort of technology displayed by this anomaly. Doug Moffett AUFORN NSW

(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 01103 & 01105)
On the 1st January 2001, at the time of 1:07 am, Mr Dorrell walked his mother to his motor vehicle to drive her home after celebrating the fall of the New Year. As Mr. Dorrell approached his motor vehicle, he suddenly noticed three unusually bright globular objects in a NE direction heading S-SW, approximately 15 degrees above the horizon. The objects were described as brilliant, their colour compared to a motor vehicle tail lamp. They were traveling steadily in a “boomerang” formation, as described by the witness. When the objects appeared closer, their apparent distances broadened, indicating a constantly maintained formation. As they neared overhead, the anomalies took a silent westerly turn and gained distance towards the horizon. Before they faded away, the witness observed each individual object to fluctuate in luminosity, similar to a star close to the horizon. Their speed was no different to a conventional aircraft.

Additional notes:
Mr Dorrell first contacted the local paper. As a result, the editor wrote an article called “Peter sees lights” which according to Mr Dorrell flooded the local news group with numerous phone calls from people claiming to have sighted the same phenomenon. One lady in particular contacted Mr Dorrell and told him how she saw a single object split into three!

Mr Dorrell also mentioned a strange occurrence that happened to him a number of years ago. He told me how he and his son were in a truck one late evening travelling home when they passed the same section of road twice! The two shrugged off this “ground hog-day” experience until they heard of an unidentified object sighted in the same area. Mr Dorrell says, “It’s not something that you talk about to other people. Otherwise they’ll think you’re crazy!”

Apparently, Mr Dorrell’s son recorded the event on a camcorder. I asked Mr Dorrell if we could receive a copy of the footage taken. I also offered to pay for the postage. Mr Dorrell informed me that he would talk to his son and have a copy sent off.

Comments:
This case is again compared to the two Albion Park cases (callin code 001056 and 001055/001057) reported in early December, 2000 as well as sightings reported in Bilamby. This case is also compared to a case in Prestons near Liverpool in August 2000, Nowra in June 1999 and Minto also in June 1999.

My question is that is there some kind of military exercise conducted by HMAS Albatross that may lead to a logical explanation to these events?
I will be contacting the officer in charge of air control co-ordination, Lieutenant Cana in attempt to find answers. Doug Moffett AUFORN NSW

On Saturday night 6.Jan 2001 at 9.28pm he and his mate went to sit outside for a smoke, when they saw a pulsating flashing light coming out of a cloud just over their house. He said it was a low cloud and that no noise could be heard. It was a very bright light, flashing in rhythm that is why he said, he knew it was not lightning. It lasted about a minute, then it stopped. He also said at the same time the Lorikeets that rest in the tree in their garden, went mad, like he had never heard them before, but as soon as the lights stopped flashing they went quite. I also spoke to his mate, who said the other night he was sitting in the garden and felt something watching him, he looked and saw a funny shape moving trying to hide in the trees, he said it was almost blending in with the trees, but when it moved he could make out a funny shape, like a large hat silhouette that you could see through. He said he did not mind telling me he was scared and had trouble sleeping. They will ring us again if anything further happens. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD

On 10th January, 2001, at the approximate time of 10:50 pm, Paul and his wife decided to sit out in their back yard to breath some fresh evening air, after a hot summers day. Not long after, Paul noticed a bright light traveling from the east towards the west at a constant pace. At first he thought it was a commercial aircraft, but when it stopped in mid air he immediately ruled that theory out. Paul asked for his wife’s attention and pointed to the unusual anomaly. Just when the helicopter theory was about to be announced, the object ascended in a 90-degree angle and attempted to stabilize itself at a much higher altitude. However this did not happen, as the object’s stability became erratic-it maneuvered back and fourth like a ping-pong ball. At this stage, Paul and his wife were at the edge of their seats. But the 20-minute encounter show was about to come to an end as the object accelerated at an unbelievable speed and disappeared between two bright stars in the NW region of the night sky (either between Jupiter and Saturn or between Jupiter and Aldebaran).

Additional notes:
During the event, there was no sound produced by the unidentified object. The colour of the anomaly was described as a whitish yellow with an aurora surrounding it. According to the witness, when the object accelerated there was a secondary light produced behind it. This may have been some kind of propulsion after burn.

The night was clear with no other air traffic within the immediate area. Doug Moffett AUFORN NSW

On Friday Night (26/01/01) Mark, his girlfriend and Mother saw a bright light in the sky, it was the size of the moon but much closer, and was just above the trees, but quite a distance away. It was glowing dim then brighter, they watched it for about half hour, phoning their friends who also went outside and saw it. It did not move or make a sound, then it changed its shape to almost diamond shape, changed to orange/red colour and slowly moved away to the north west.

The man I spoke to would still not give his name and it was difficult to get him to talk to me, so the information may be a little short. Mr X lives at Kingston in Brisbane. On friday night (26th Jan 2001) Mr X was sitting out in his garden having a beer when he noticed a big orange ball drop out of the sky, he said he thought it was going to hit the ground, but it stopped, just above the tree height. He said he was looking south towards the Gold Coast. The time was 10pm and there was no noise. It was about the size of a Lounge Room (his words not mine). It stayed still for a while then took off very slowly toward the gold coast. He did say he had drawn the object, and would send me a copy. He did not wish to comment further.

NOTE: I have had a few sighting of similar sort on the same Friday night in the Brisbane area. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD

On the nights of 17 and 18th Feb 2001, Julie and her husband saw a bright light in the sky, west just over Mt Glorious. It was low in the sky. It traveled slowly up and then dropped down over a period of 10 minutes. Julie said it was 20 times bigger and brighter than a star. They watched it for about half hour then it just slowly disappeared. It did the same thing the next night only, it was much higher in the sky but still in the west over Mt Glorious. They said it was differently not a star.

Julie went on to say when she was 17 (1977) she shared a bedroom with her sister, they heard a funny sound like a gone wrong siren, then it stopped and there was a big red glow coming from outside, they looked out of the window and could see something the size of the house, it was just above them, everything had a red glow, the trees were swaying and wind was blowing coming from somewhere. She went to take a closer look outside, holding her Bible, but as soon as she opened the door it vanished, and everything went back to normal. Jan Stone AUFORN QLD

Gino stated that a couple of months ago on a clear night, he and 2 neighbours witnessed some strange coloured lights. He stated that there were four orange balls travelling in formation, in a straight , at the same speed. Some of the lights had ‘embers’ falling off them. There was no apparent sound and they flew quite low, much lower than a plane travelling south east-south west towards Ipswich. AUFORN QLD

20.04.01 MELBOURNE (NARRE WARREN), VIC (CE1)
(Source: 1800 Freecall National Hotline Number - Callin Code: 01341)
A young lady named Silvana saw something strange when out with her friend late one night. It was the night of the 20th of April 2001, the time was just after midnight. They were in the Narre Waren area. The object was described as being ‘too big’ to be a plane and moving very fast.It was also very bright....so bright it ‘looked like a prism in a star shape...producing different colours like a prism’.

The object appeared to be heading towards the Narre Warren area. It was not very high up..it was lower than a plane...gliding...and with no noise...seemed like it was only a few kilometers away. Silvana thought it would hit the ground. She also said she’s never seen anything like it before. (Note...a few years ago there was numerous reports coming from the Narre Warren area...and a local professional photographer managed to photograph one which looks very like the above description. )

Silvana’s friend’s partner also wanted to report a case, he had apparently seen something some 18 months previously. It was at an elevation of approx. 40 degrees.

It was about 9:30 pm...on a very clear night..a large orange Ball of light...with NO sound or strobes...”not fast enough to be a helicopter”, flew nearby. It was travelling “away from me”. The witness then noticed that the light went dull very quickly, and suddenly changed direction. It then went out of sight. George Simpson AUFORN VIC

Elizabeth said: “I rang the Airforce and they fogged me off. I rang the aviation authority and they had nothing on their system. I am aware of the air traffic because I have lived here for years. These were no normal planes they had no wings.

I have had the run around and I want to know what it is.”

Comment:
I did this callin as Elizabeth was very upset, I think the authorities upset her more than seeing the object. I explained it could have been a meteorite as it travels quite fast through our atmosphere. Elizabeth settled down and seemed to be happy with the possible explanation. Diane Harrison AUFORN

On the 25th May at around 8:30 pm at St Clair, Denis noticed two bright orange objects in the sky heading North to North-West. He thought these objects may have been weather balloons, but dismissed the concept soon after and left a message with our hotline. On the 1st of June which was also a Friday he noticed again that there were bright orange lights in the sky, however this time there were four. He stated that they were moving across the sky together slowly, about the same altitude and direction heading as the ones he’d seen the week prior. He watched them for about 15 minutes when one took of travelling faster than a plane continuing to head north. He then said another took off to the North-West at a less accelerated speed. The two remaining kept travelling at the same speed and in the same direction. I have asked him to contact me if he sees these objects again. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

David was on his Balcony Unit having a barbeque with friends and relatives celebrating his Birthday. His wife noticed three bright orange lights in the eastern sky at about 90 degrees from the horizon. The lights were pulsating simultaneously and were positioned in a triangular formation. After 15 minutes the lights were no longer present. The reportee stated he did not see them leave. He just looked up again and they were gone. All those present at the celebration saw the three lights in question. They could not judge the height at which the lights were hovering. Considering the information given I am of the opinion the lights pulsating simultaneously could be in fact one object possibly in the shape of an isosceles triangle. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

On Tuesday evening at around 6:15 pm Richard and his son were driving along Narellan Road travelling towards Campbelltown when they noticed an orange light in the sky. It appeared in the South-Eastern sky at about 15 degrees above the horizon. Richard stated they were at the highest point on the Road way when they first noticed it. The reportee stated that the orange light was lightly pulsating and that it couldn’t be attributed to cloud cover as it was a clear night. It seemed to be travelling at a similar height to that of the planes that pass over the Campbelltown area, but not on the same flight path. The orange light seemed to be heading toward Liverpool. No other lights were apparent and the light was not similar to that of a plane. When Richard pulled up at the stop lights at the intersection of Narellan, Blaxland and Gilcrest Avenue, which is a major intersection, the light could still be clearly seen, even in this lit up area. The reportees said the object looked at least three times bigger than Mars is at the present time. When Richard and his son drove off from the main intersection they pulled off to the side of the Road and got out to have a better look. The orange light projected the same intensity the whole time they were observing it until it faded from view due to distance. Richard thought this light first appeared over the area of Wollongong. Andrew was in his front yard at around 9 pm when he noticed a white, slow pulsating light moving across the sky from South to North. He said he thought he could see what looked like a disc shaped object underneath the light. No sound could be heard, no unusual flying movements ie. zig zaging, speed were apparent. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

Sue and her husband noticed 6 to 10 bright orange lights heading towards the North-East on Saturday Night (7/7/01) at around 10:30 pm. They went out to the front yard and watched them for around two minutes. The sky was clear at that time, the lights were not flickering or pulsating according to Sue. No Zig Zaging or strange movements were apparent. They were flying at a similar altitude to the planes that fly over head. The orange lights moved slowly and silently across the sky. The reportee was driving along the highway at around 10:20 pm on the 7/7/01 when he noticed 12 orange lights in the sky around 30 degrees above the horizon travelling in a North-Easterly direction. No noise, pulsating or flickering was apparent. Daryl stopped at a BP Service Station where a number of people had stopped to look at the orange lights. He said they were spread out in no particular formation and were flying about the same altitude as a plane. It was a clear night, with partial misty cloud cover here and there. He watched the event for around 20 minutes whilst at the service station. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

Paul, his girlfriend and neighbours noticed 3 bright orange lights in the Western Sky travelling towards the city on Saturday Night at around 10 pm. They appeared to be the same distance apart. Paul stated they looked as if they were on fire. All those present were watching them for 5 minutes when the lights started accending and headed in 3 different directions. They were travelling according to Paul at the same height as a plane. No noise was apparent. It was a clear night and no planes were travelling in that area of the sky. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

This reportee noticed a roundish orange light in the sky and went out to his balcony for a closer look. His balcony unit faces North. He saw a large orange fireball coming from the North about the size of a five cent piece at arms length. It was heading towards the South. He went downstairs outside for a better look and took his binoculars. He then noticed it was heading North-East over the ocean. The reportee stated it then stopped over the ocean at about 35 to 40 degrees above the horizon for about 2-3 minutes and while doing so two objects dropped out of it. He said that these objects just dropped down to the horizon and disappeared after which the orange light seemed to divide into two and just disappeared. Five minutes later he saw exactly the same thing again and that the orange fireball was stationary again in the same position as the previous one. The reportee stated the orange fireball looked round, but seemed as if the top and bottom of it had been flattened out a little.

Some of his neighbours also saw the first sighting. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

The reportee has been a farmer all his life thus involving night time tractor ploughing. He is familiar with the night sky and its contents, eg. planets, comets, satellites etc.. The time was 7.30 pm, sky dark and clear. The object appeared over the horizon & moved quickly from the NNE, came above them and then did an abrupt 90 degree turn and headed out to sea at approximately ESE at reasonably high speed. The object looked like the tail end of a jet engine, it was flaming orange in colour, but not a hoax ( Ross has seen many of those ). It was silent and about 1/2 inch long when close to the horizon, judged at arms length. Ross called his wife to see the object and she confirmed his description, it was visible for about four minutes. Derek and Veronica INFODIG

The reportee was watching television on Sunday night, when a very bright light shining through the window, caught her eye. It was much bigger than a star and was moving slowly west. She watched the light for approximately a minute when she decided to call her mother and niece. The three of them ran outside where they continued to watch it for about 30 seconds. It was a cloudless night, no wind and a quarter moon. Kimberley heard no sound from the light as it continued to travel west. It then abruptly stopped and went out like a light bulb. She immediately felt she had to tell someone and called Telstra to inquire about a number for such things. The Telstra line made a remark that they had received a similar report from Goulburn and referred her to the 1800 number.

Kimberley’s mother informed her that a bright light had followed their car many years before, along the highway between Orange and Bathurst. Her mum had never mentioned it before Sunday night. Veronica AUFORN(NSW)

Anne and Roger were travelling along Jingellic Road at 8:31 pm 29/07/01. This road for the most part runs alongside the Murray River, this area is located on the NSW/Victorian border. They were travelling from East to West towards Holbrook when they noticed a bright white light in the Southern Sky over the National Park. Roger and Anne estimated it was above 6,000 feet off the ground when they first noticed it and was moving at a 45 degree angle towards the ground. Roger stated it was going faster than a comet. The object apparently turned red, then exploded. It then turned green, then a beautiful bright blue and then disappeared or went out. What is interesting is the statement that it did not have a tail or leave a trail at all.

Anne who was driving was temporarily vision impaired during the explosion, her vision was dim, she could not see her own headlight beams in front of her. Anne stated the following day that Helicopters were seen flying near the area the following morning, but states she has seen helicopters flying near the area before, so it could be a coincidence.

Both of them thought they should report it. They stated they thought there may be debris from it and that Investigators may be able to gain access via the ‘Human Hovel Walking Track’, which runs along the side of the mountain. Karen Burden AUFORN NSW

Roseena was outside in the garden with her husband when she noticed an object travelling east-west across the sky say from 2 o’clock down to 10 o’clock.

The object was green with what appeared to be a white short tail.

The object appeared to travelling at the speed of a falling star and lasted a few seconds, but fell behind the clouds.

Roseena stated that she had seen the object previously three years ago on the road to Redland Bay, Brisbane.

Roseena herself is clairvoyant and has many incidences that she does not understand, including seeing a grey in her bedroom. Her daughter has also awakened from a weird ‘dream’ in which she was grabbed by the wrist and woken up with physical bruising on her wrists that she can’t explain.

I left my number with Roseena as she wanted to discuss some things further without her husband being present, so we might meet for a coffee etc.

Liz was sitting outside on Saturday 11/08/01 having a cigarette around 8.30pm, when she first spotted an orange light in the sky. Whilst she continued to watch it, the one light became three.

Liz states that the 3 orange disc shaped lights where travelling in a straight line formation - horizontal eg: ‘ * * * ‘ and thinks most probably the reason she originally saw one light was that the line at that time was face on, as it moved passed her, slowly, that is when she noticed three lights.

During the couple of minutes Liz saw these lights she heard no sound from them, even though they were close enough to have heard it if it was a light plane, which Liz originally thought it was. She changed her mind, when she saw the other 2 lights and the fact that they were flying in such a straight line formation and that all their colour was orange, not the blue/red/white of a light aircraft.

When I asked her, how she knew that this were ‘disc shaped’ objects, she told me it was because they were so close overhead that she could discern the shape clearly.

Liz then states that lights just disappeared, as quickly as they had appeared. Charmaine Ballam AUFORN SA

Neil was outside at around 7.04pm on Saturday night. The night sky was clear expect for a few scattered clouds, when he noticed a bright pulsating light approx 85 degrees overhead, travelling in a leisurely fashion but up high. What made him really take notice of this light is the way that it ‘flashed’.

It would flash once, for approx 8 secs, stop, then flash again for approx 3 secs, stop, then again 8 secs, stop, 3 secs, stop etc. It did that for approx 60 - 90 secs, before just disappearing.

Neil said, he had good knowledge of the local aircraft that flew from Kangaroo Island to Adelaide Airport on Saturday nights, as he had lived in the Kangarilla area for years. Also the Kangarilla area being in the southern foothills of Adelaide is well away from city light and noise, that is another reason that made it stand out in the clear sky...the brightness of it, and also the lack of sound from it.

He said he had been skywatching for many years, and certainly knew what a satellite looked like and as stated before a light aircraft, this he said, was not like anything he had every seen in all his years [he was an older gentleman] and that is what made him contact the UFO Hotline. He stressed that if he had felt even the remote possibility that it could have been a satellite or plane or even a weather balloon he would not have rang the hotline. Charmaine Ballam AUFORN SA

Mr X had a dream the night after the crop circles appeared on Tuesday 21st August 2001. 420 of the circles. Mr X says he knows the message that the crop circles are trying to tell us and this is his theory( in his own words):

“Channel 10 News Tuesday 21/8/01 show 420 circles appeared overnight in a wheat field UK all circles appearing to be linked. Message from outer space or a reminder?. If each circle = 1 month divide by 420 X 12 = 35 years add 35 years to 2001 and you get 2036

On the news in 1994/5 it was reported that an asteroid belt was going to collide with Earth in the year 2036. Which corresponds with the Wheat field waning and makes earths destruction on or about 21.8.2036 if nothing is done about it! The way I read this warning is the people from space are willing to help Earth divert this complete destruction if we ask them, but we have to ask because it is probably against their beliefs to interfere with another planet unless requested.

Now that I have written this it looks and sounds silly, but this is what I dreamed on the night of, 21/8/01 it just came to me out of the blue and I remembered the news and broadcast in 1994/5. Could this be true? Could you please put this out on the list for others to comment.”

Mr X has asked me to forward your reply’s to him, he has not got a computer, so I will have to print them out and post to him. All comments welcome. Mr X is a American Gentleman from Texas. He had had many sighting in the past as a child, please read on for his experience.

Sighting one
Age 7. In about 1945 - Oakland California. Daytime - In back yard, heard noise and looked up. Air force testing B-52 Bomber, saw a white streak fly across the sky and then a fireball and the B52 exploded. A single parachute shot from the craft, so I thought the pilot must have got out.

Sighting Two
1948 Oakland California, approx 0600. Going to do my paper round on my bike, taking, shortcut through rim of large gravel pit, when suddenly a large object flew up from center and disappeared into the sky, this seemed to pull the bike from under me, I fell off the bike, the bike disappeared, I suffered cuts and bruises, I was almost knocked out. My bike was never found.

Sighting Three
1951 Milton, Florida. Navel Air Base, daytime, Hiking in woods, and laid down in clearing for a rest, saw strange formation of thunder clouds in the sky, suddenly felt warm and relaxed and went to sleep, waking up just at sunset, got into trouble for being late for diner.

Sighting Four
1956 Night, Nr Britany? France, standing guard duty where supply ships were being off loaded offshore. Clear night, Golden Moon, which I thought was reflecting off the water, then realized the reflection was moving. Watched it disappear (about 4 minutes).

Sighting Five
1997 Labrador, Queensland. Night of October on or about 14th. Walking to Pizza hut with daughter to celebrate her birthday. We had just crossed the footbridge where coast guard is, My daughter pointed up asking “ what is that”? Looking up I saw a long light blue streak shooting across the sky, more or less above the Pizza Hut. Watched until out of sight, No noise, just blue streak, length of sighting 10-12 seconds. Keeshor viewed a bright white light shining through the window of his home. He realised it was not a planet, star, meteorite or aeroplane. He had his video camera on hand so he quickly grabbed it and managed to film it for approx. 8 seconds. It was travelling from south to north going away from him but it was getting bigger until it was as big as a tennis ball. It suddenly disappeared. He said that with the naked eye it was approx. 3 inches above the horizon. He viewed the footage that he had on VHS cassette through the TV and then he said he enlarged it and viewed it again. He said that he could see that the light was rotating with all different coloured lights. Keeshor has contacted Channel 7 and Channel 9 who are interested in his story but need the footage to be analysed to be sure it is not a hoax before they air it on National TV. Whilst driving from the shops Fiona and Hans saw a combination of bright, white lights. The two outer lights were round and bright, whilst the inner lights were dimmer and impossible to define shape wise. After 15 seconds of observation the lights just went out, with no silloughette behind it. There were no clouds , black or otherwise. The objects were too bright and clear to be reflections in the window. The lights appeared stationary for most of the sighting. Others stars were visible, but the object was well below the line of other astronomical objects. “ It was as if they saw us looking at them” stated one of the witness’s. The end lights were round, the middle lights vague. This was a suburban area at peak hour. The witness’s TV had interference for approx 1hour later. The witness has lived in the area for 4 yrs and has never experienced interference on the TV except in storms. The object appeared low..maybe 200 mtrs above the horizon. The witness’s looked for several minutes after the sighting to ascertain the nature of the sighting , but to no avail. One of the witness’s had a sense of strangeness about the sighting. This report comes from Hopetown in the Mallee district .

Star like object, ow in sky. It changed colour and moved about etc. When Michael said that the same object was there 2 nights ago...and that he watched it for 3 or so hours then I began to realise he was probably watching an unfamiliar NATURAL object. I surmised it might have been CANOPUS....low in the south/west. I checked the direction,.time and date of the sightings in ‘Skyglobe’ on my computer.( which I again highly recommend all researchers should download and use)...and there..right where Michael was looking was CANOPUS. I would put the movement down to optical illusion in this case as there was no reference point for the witness....so it was easy for the eye to drift around. George Simpson AUFORN VIC
